~Mamma Francesca and Zia Sara~

These women have been a huge impact in Sergio and Massimo's lives keeping the Sicilian heritage going on in their cooking. Mamma Francesca and Zia Sara were born and raised in Sicily and leaned how to bake and cook by eye, feel and instinct; cooking was a natural a part of a woman's education during their time. Mamma Francesca always says:

"Whether you're cooking or eating, food is always the centerpiece of your social settings and the focal point of your lives together as a family."
